We are the proud owners of two adorable little rescue mutts (one's a chihuahua mix and the other's a yorkie mix). Our little doggies are not by any means, cold weather dogs, especially the chihuahua. They are both total lap dogs and love to snuggle inside under the covers on cold days. Most small dogs…

We Got a New Toy Organizer!
A few weeks ago we were talking about converting our little girl's changing table. Next on our list was reorganizing her toys. For her first couple of years, we had picked up this small fold-up toy chest from Target. I'm not even sure they sell it anymore. It was mostly fabric-covered heavy duty cardboard, but…
Beading with My Little Girl – Building Fine Motor Skills
I have to say I just love shopping for craft supplies with my little girl and finding projects to do with her. She loves to go shopping and is always interested in almost anything I tell her we're doing. Now add to this that she is the girliest girly girl ever, when I tell her…

Annual Dating Anniversary Trip to a Haunted House – Fright Factory Review
My husband and I met 11 years ago right around Halloween time. We met online and were chatting a bit for about a week. Knowing that I was also very into horror films and such (and I think he also really wanted to check out the haunted house), he asked me if I'd like to…

Pottery painting can be an awesome date idea, especially if you're an art or craft lover like myself and my husband. At most places you can BYOB and your own snacks and food and the pricing can be very reasonable (depending on what you paint). Not to mention, Groupon has loads of local deals for…

We Love Back to School Shopping at Target
I can't even begin to say how much we love shopping at Target. It's been our go-to store since pretty much forever, especially after having our little girl. Target's brand was our absolute staple for diapers, wipes and formula. We also signed up for the REDCard which gave us even more incentive to shop there getting an instant 5% cashback on every purchase. With that, one of my little girl's first sentences was "I go shopping at Target" ...Click to read more!
My Three Year Old Asked to Learn how to Knit
I was out of town last week taking care of some personal family issues and on a whim headed out to Michaels to get something to do for myself. I absolutely love craft stores and Michaels is definitely one of my favorites. My mom got me into crafting from a very young age constantly taking me out to pick up supplies, projects and took me to classes during summer breaks. I don't consider myself an expert or all that talented, but I enjoy doing it.... Click to read more!
