Last week, I started a new weight loss journey and am using this blog to keep my journal as well as keep me on track and honest. It’s still working very nicely and I very much appreciate the continued love and support from all my friends and family. I am very happy to report, I made it through my first weekend on this new journey and am still going strong! It wasn’t easy as there were loads of temptations and it’s so much easier to fall into old habits on the weekend when I’m off schedule and not really following a daily routine as such. I did admittedly eat 5 potato chips that I just had to try – they were jalapeno flavored! All things considered that was literally all I did that was technically cheating so for me, that’s still a huge success. I also lost a couple of pounds. Woohoo!!!
True to her word, my little girl woke up even before I did Friday morning to do yoga with me and she did it again yesterday and today. I must say I’m impressed at her commitment here. She’s never seemed to be a morning person and I normally have to drag her out of bed in the mornings. We’ve really been enjoying this time together. One of our dogs joined in one day as well.
It’s hard to tell as the camera cuts off a tiny bit, but I actually made it almost all the way down to getting my fingertips on the floor for a forward fold. I was pretty good again this morning and I think I’ll be able to really manage it in another few days.
