It’s that time of year yet again where folks across the world will be shopping for and buying loads of candy, costumes and party supplies and celebrating all things spooky and macabre. While I don’t personally celebrate Halloween itself, it’s still one of my favorite times of the year as I have always been a fan of all things supernatural in pop culture and entertainment. I loved all the great horror films and spooky shows and specials that would pop up around this time, not to mention all the haunted houses (more on that soon – my husband and I go to one every year as it’s a tradition to celebrate our first date).
While we didn’t go trick-or-treating or do anything to really celebrate the holiday, my mom always bought candy to hand out to the neighbors and I always liked seeing all the neighborhood kids come to the door in their costumes and handing them the candy.
